Netflix saw a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $619 in the week of November 22. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a peak of around 44K in early October and a notable increase to 41.7K near the end of December. Active users showed a slight increase from 691K at the beginning of the quarter to 711K by the end.
Showmax experienced a significant drop in downloads at the start of the quarter, from 86K to just over 12K by mid-October. However, there was a gradual recovery towards December, reaching 22K in the final week. Active users also dropped initially, from 333K to 174K by mid-October, but recovered to stabilize around 241K by the end of December.
